At ZEAL, we empower our people to think ambitiously and work together toward a shared purpose: helping people imagine and achieve their aspirations.   PURPOSE As Team & Tech Lead, you’ll combine people leadership with hands-on engineering. You’ll build and grow your own engineering team, shape the technical direction and stay close to the code. You’ll also play a key role in embedding AI and automation into engineering workflows while collaborating closely with teams across locations.   YOUR TASKS: - Build and grow your own engineering team, including hiring key technical roles. - Lead, mentor and develop engineers, including performance management, feedback and professional growth. - Define and drive technical direction, architecture and engineering standards. - Stay hands-on by writing code, contributing to features and solving complex technical challenges. - Drive the adoption of AI and automation across engineering workflows, including AI-assisted development and AI agents. - Work closely with Product and UX to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. - Ensure reliable delivery through a “you build it, you run it” approach. - Drive technical alignment and collaboration across engineering teams and locations. - Balance technical quality and ambition with pragmatic, fast delivery.   WHAT YOU OFFER US: - Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams, ideally in a cross-functional environment. - Strong, recent hands-on experience with Next.js, TypeScript and HTML5/CSS3. - Practical experience using AI in software engineering, including building or implementing AI agents and automation. - Experience deploying, monitoring and maintaining web applications. - Experience working in e-commerce environments. - Strong understanding of software architecture and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Strong organisational, prioritisation and stakeholder management skills. - Proactive, ownership-driven approach with strong communication skills.   WHAT WE OFFER YOU: - International working environment where your ideas and contributions can have a real impact. - A talented and supportive team with plenty of opportunity to take ownership and shape how we work. - €1,500 annual development budget to support your personal and professional growth. - A high level of trust and autonomy, giving you the freedom to own your work and make decisions. - Unlimited vacation days in addition to your yearly 30-day vacation allowance. - The opportunity to work temporarily from abroad with support through our WorkFlex platform.
