You’ll come with a fresh perspective and new ideas. You’re someone who can reconcile accounts one day and improve org health the next. You’re flexible and adaptable, since wearing multiple hats is part of our culture.    About our team: We are passionate about growing personally and professionally. We believe that org health is just as important as debits and credits. We have a lot of responsibility and work hard. However, this isn’t public accounting. We typically work 40-45 hours even during close. We don’t wear pocket protectors, we’re fun accountants. We like to spend time with each other outside of work (think team dinners, skeet shooting, baseball games, tailgates, etc.). If Zeeco sounds like a good fit, we’d love to hear from you!   What you’ll be doing: Maintain the general ledger and tie-out to the sub-ledgers monthly Prepare complex journal entries and reconcile accounts as part of the month-end close process Analyze and research account balances to ensure they are accurate and complete Compile and review trial balances, financial statements, and other accounting documents Perform full-cycle purchase card reconciliations and fleet invoicing reviews Manage commissions process for internal and external sales reps Develop spreadsheet reports and field ad hoc requests Assist with annual audit   To be a good fit you’ll have: Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP Strong analytical skill set with ability to defend position with logical reasoning Proficiency using Microsoft Excel/Word/Power Point/Outlook Expert Excel skills and ability to create/use spreadsheets with multiple functions Detailed oriented with a focus on accuracy A high sense of urgency, strong initiative, and the ability to multi-task Results driven with a commitment to ownership and follow-through Ability to work independently with limited instruction Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or similar), or equivalent experience Excellent oral and written communication skills (position includes frequent communication with upper management) Professional in all aspects including superior work product   A plus if you have: CPA or CPA candidate MBA Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL, Crystal Reports, Workday, and Concur
