APPLY NOW TO JOIN ZURU EDGE AS A COPY & COMMUNICATIONS INTERN!   We're looking for a conscientious and driven Copy & Communications Intern to join our New Product Development team within a global FMCG powerhouse. You'll gain hands-on experience shaping the voice of some of the most exciting and disruptive brands on the market working closely with our Copy & Communications Lead and partnering with Marketing, Design, Product Development, Customer Service, and Compliance teams. Along the way, you'll build practical skills in brand naming, positioning, storytelling, tone-of-voice development, and copywriting for packaging and marketing. If you're a sharp writer with an eye for detail and a passion for brand-building who wants real-world experience in beauty and FMCG, we'd love to hear from you.     What You'll Do Brand Communications & Copywriting Support - Assist in maintaining and updating brand tone-of-voice guidelines, messaging frameworks, and copy style guides - Support brainstorming sessions for brand and product names, helping generate options that are unique, ownable, and able to clear trademark checks - Assist with early-stage brand positioning work, including audience profiling, white space identification, and claims development - Draft first-pass copy for product descriptions, FAQs, and web content for review - Proofread and edit copy across channels for grammar, clarity, and consistency with brand tone - Assist with formatting and building presentation decks, brand scripts, and internal playbooks Packaging Copy & Messaging - Draft packaging copy and messaging hierarchies for review - Support the development of product claims, helping research claims to differentiate from competitors - Assist with proofing packaging artwork against approved copy ahead of sign-off, flagging inconsistencies or errors - Help keep copy briefs accurate and up to date, and assist where needed with the copy translation workflow between translation providers, copywriters, and creative teams - Assist in compiling fact sheets for new brands for use in web FAQs, customer service handbooks, and communication frameworks Administrative & Cross-Functional Support - Set up and maintain spreadsheets to track naming pipelines, trademark search status, claims substantiation, and packaging artwork approvals - Support coordination of trademark search requests between branding and legal teams - Help create, populate, and organise brand documentation, naming banks, and copy libraries - Take notes and follow up on action items from meetings with Marketing, NPD, and Design teams - Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc research tasks, such as competitor analysis, tone-of-voice benchmarking, and audience insights - Track industry trends and consumer language to help inform brand naming and messaging development What You'll Bring - Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for tone, clarity, and detail - A genuine interest in beauty, lifestyle, or FMCG brands and consumer storytelling - Organised, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple small tasks in a fast-paced environment - Collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally, including with senior stakeholders - No professional experience required - a strong portfolio, coursework samples, or personal writing projects are welcome   About ZURU   ZURU is on a mission to disrupt across industries, challenge the status quo and catalyst change through radical innovation and automation advances.
