Prepare an application without rebuilding yourself from scratch.
A saved role becomes a focused packet: requirements, grounded Career Memory evidence, a draft, and your review before anything is used.
For a role you may apply to

Visual guide
Follow the numbered steps. Each one tells you what should be visible before you continue.
- 1Read the requirements
- 2Choose evidence
- 3Review the packet
Do it with the screen open
Three steps, one calm handoff.
Step 1Open this screenRead the requirements
Open the role and identify what it asks for. Keep requirements distinct from evidence you have actually confirmed.
You should see: The role page shows what is known, what is missing, and what needs your review.
Step 2Choose evidence
Select source-traceable Career Memory entries that support the role. Unsupported claims remain questions, not polished facts.
You should see: Each proposal shows its evidence state and source locator before you accept wording.
Step 3Review the packet
Edit the draft, check the requirements, and save only after it sounds like you. MeritLog never auto-applies or sends a message.
You should see: A saved draft is labeled as a draft and can be reopened from the application queue.
If the path breaks
If a requirement has no evidence, leave it open and add a source later rather than stretching a claim.
The help center never asks for a private source in a public form.
